DAAD is Germany's largest international education organization, which was founded by education institutes in Germany in 1925. It is not an educational institution, but it provides support and guidance for education in Germany.

DAAD represents around 365 German educational institutions, including technical, science, and art universities. It supports more than 100,000 German and international students and researchers across the globe each year - making it the largest funding organization in the world of this type.

Scholarship program DAAD enables students, researchers, and the academic staff to take advantage of the best study and research opportunities.

This program promotes international cooperation and partnership with universities. DAAD supports the objectives of Germany's foreign cultural and educational policy, national science policies and development cooperation efforts. It also promotes the internationalization of German higher education institutions.

DAAD provides scholarships to study and research in Germany, but the university you choose must be accredited. Besides supporting international students, DAAD also supports German students with scholarships to study abroad.
